For our organic arable farm in Biddinghuizen, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Machinery Mechanic. Our company is a technology leader specialising in sustainable food production with respect for people, animals, and the environment. In addition to traditional agricultural machinery, we utilise advanced systems such as weeding robots, various sorting technologies, and GPS-guided equipment.

Responsibilities

As a mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of our machinery fleet, as well as the implementation of autonomous systems. The work is carried out both independently and as part of a team.

Your main tasks include:

Preventive maintenance of agricultural machines and tools.

Diagnosing and resolving faults (mechanical, electrical, digital, and hydraulic).

Maintenance and technical support for agricultural robots and GPS systems.

Modification and enhancement of existing equipment.

Maintaining maintenance records and tracking technical data.

Welding and fabrication work.

Inventory management of parts and timely ordering.

Requirements

Experience in the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery.

Precise and organised approach to work.

Responsibility for inventory management and ordering necessary materials.

Willingness to undertake tractor work when required (e.g., during peak periods), which requires a category "T" driving licence.

English language skills: Minimum B2 level.
