What you'll be doing
The Senior E-commerce Associate will oversee and optimize online product merchandising, curating digital shelves to maximize sales, strengthen website visibility, and reflect brand values. The position leverages data insights for assortment planning, campaign launches, and continuous enhancement of product discoverability.
The role also partners closely with Brands, Marketing, Supply Chain, Stores, and Customer Care teams to drive smooth execution of online merchandising activities and support commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize digital product assortments, categories, collections, and listings to maximize sales, drive growth, and enhance website visibility.
Support new brand and product launches, ensuring products are accurately and compellingly presented online and aligned with brand standards across the website and app.
Partner with brands and suppliers on product listings, launches, activations, and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, Stores, and Customer Care, to ensure smooth execution and alignment of online merchandising activities.
Ensure accurate and engaging product descriptions, categorization, imagery, and visual merchandising in line with brand standards.
Optimize digital merchandising, website navigation, and product discoverability through regular site audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor competitors, industry trends, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative merchandising solutions.
Analyze sales, customer behavior, and website performance data to optimize assortment, product placement, and conversion.
Support Supply Chain and purchasing decisions through sales data, customer insights, and market intelligence.
Monitor and report on key merchandising and commercial performance metrics.
Work independently and take ownership of key merchandising activities, acting as a delegate for the manager when required.
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
3+ years of experience in retail E-commerce.
Strong understanding of E-commerce merchandising, digital product assortment, website navigation, and online customer experience.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, customer, and website performance data and translate insights into actionable decisions.
Good knowledge of E-commerce platforms, digital merchandising practices, and analytics/reporting tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make sound decisions.
Proactive, results-oriented, and highly detail-oriented.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to work from our Nasr City, Cairo office.
