On-call staff member for mother-child home (2 nights per week)
Who are we?
For our mother and child home, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated sleep duty worker.
The mother and child home provides care to vulnerable (sometimes young) mothers who are (not yet) able to independently create a safe upbringing environment for their child(ren). Care is provided both on a voluntary and compulsory basis.
We offer a stable, safe environment where mothers can learn, grow, and strengthen their parenting skills. For the children, this means a place where they experience the safety and peace they need for healthy development.
What will you do as a sleep duty worker?
As a sleep duty worker, you will be present at the mother-child home during the night. You are a calming presence in the house: visibly available for safety, accessibility, and support in acute situations.
You are not a night shift worker but sleep on-site. If emergencies or requests for help arise, you can be woken up and provide support where needed.
Your tasks include, among others:
Being present on-site from 8:45 PM to 7:45 AM
Identifying unrest, (un)safety, or urgent requests for help
Answering questions and providing support in crisis situations
Recording notable events in the handover report
Contributing to calm and structure in the house
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a reliable, stable, and calm personality with a big heart for mothers and children. Someone who stands firm, provides clarity, and at the same time is warm and approachable.
You bring:
Affinity with youth care and/or vulnerable groups
Flexibility and stress resilience
Experience in care or support is an advantage
Minimum MBO 3 care qualification and corresponding work and thinking level
A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required
What do we offer you?
A meaningful role with societal impact
Working in a dedicated and professional team
A fixed compensation of €125.00 per sleep duty
Part-time employment of an average of 2 nights per week
