Protocol Education is working with a range of welcoming primary schools across Bath and the surrounding villages seeking passionate EYFS and KS1 Teachers for roles beginning in January. From first phonics successes to growing confidence in reading, writing and maths, you'll play a vital role in nurturing children's development during the most formative years of their education. We're looking for teachers who can create calm, engaging classrooms where children feel supported to explore, learn and thrive.

The Role

You'll be delivering engaging lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 1, helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally. Whether you're teaching Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, you'll foster a positive learning environment where independence, confidence and a love of learning can flourish.

Working alongside experienced school teams, you'll support pupils through key developmental milestones while maintaining high expectations and bringing creativity to the curriculum.

This Role Is Perfect If You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have recent experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1
  • Understand the importance of early literacy, numeracy and child development
  • Can quickly establish positive routines and expectations
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity and positivity into the classroom
  • Are looking for a January start in a rewarding teaching role

What We Need to Clear You

To begin working with Protocol Education, you'll need:

  • A valid passport and proof of your right to work in the UK
  • Two proofs of address (such as a driving licence, utility bill, council tax statement, P45 or P60)
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of work or education history, with any gaps explained
  • References covering the last two years, ideally from education, childcare or related settings
  • An Overseas Police Check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
