We're working with a number of warm, welcoming nurseries and pre-schools across Bath who are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join their teams from December.

What You'll Be Doing
• Supporting young children during play, learning activities, and daily routines
• Helping to create a safe, happy, and engaging environment
• Encouraging children's social, emotional, and physical development
• Joining in with creative activities, outdoor play, and group sessions
• Supporting children with meal times, transitions, and tidy-up activities
• Promoting positive behaviour through encouragement and praise
• Ensuring children's wellbeing and safety are always a priority
• Following safeguarding policies and reporting any concerns appropriately
What We're Looking For
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A warm, patient, and caring approach
• Plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved
• Reliability and flexibility
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Any experience with children is beneficial, whether through babysitting, volunteering, coaching, family experience, or community work
Bonus Skills
• Paediatric First Aid Training is desirable but not essential
• Previous childcare experience is welcomed but not required

What We Need to Clear You
• Passport/proof of right to work in the UK
• 2 proofs of address
• CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any explained gaps
• Two years of references, including childcare where applicable
• Overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more in the past 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
