The Role

As an HLTA, you'll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

You may be:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
• Delivering targeted interventions on a 1:1 or small-group basis
• Leading whole-class learning when teachers are attending PPA time, training, or meetings
• Supporting lesson delivery and pupil progress across the curriculum
• Working with pupils who require additional support, including those with SEND
• Helping to create positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
• Supporting assessment and adapting activities to meet individual learning needs

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds HLTA status or has significant experience working at HLTA level
• Is confident supporting children aged 4-11
• Has experience leading learning and covering lessons when required
• Is calm, organised, and proactive in their approach
• Can adapt learning effectively to meet a range of needs, including SEND
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Has a professional and positive presence within school
• Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential

What We Need to Clear You

To get you registered and ready for work, we'll need:

• A valid passport or proof of your right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence, utility bill, council tax bill, or P45/P60
• A CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education history, with any gaps explained
• Two years of references, including education or childcare references where applicable
• An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
