We are seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to provide individual support to a pupil with an EHCP.
This role requires someone who understands that behaviour and emotional regulation are often forms of communication. You’ll take the time to understand the pupil, build trust and provide consistent support that enables them to access learning and become increasingly independent.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering individualised EHCP support
- Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
- Adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Promoting confidence, resilience and independence
- Delivering targeted interventions
- Working collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo and other professionals
Experience supporting autistic/neurodivergent pupils, SEMH or additional needs would be particularly beneficial.
We’re looking for someone calm and resilient who can balance nurture and encouragement with clear, consistent expectations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
